Best opportunity to upload radter maps to Edge devices

What is the best way to upload raster maps to an Edge device (Edge 1030 Plus) for using it for hiking and MTB?

Many user say in the forum that they do not use BaseCamp as it us old ==> what us the way best for getting the raster maps to the device?

BaseCamp is fine, I've been using it for years. Having said that the best way of uploading third party maps depends on the map creator and your intended use. Some map makers supply files you can directly install to your device, some to BaseCamp and others to both.
