Currently, I have to do a screen capture - then use a photo imaging software to crop and print my itinerary.
Will 4.7.2.0 allow one to print a simple itinerary?

I don't typically make a hard copy of a route, but you could try going to the Route Directions tab, clicking on the Start location, hold down the shift, and click on the End location. Then Right-Click on one of the highlighted blue areas, and select Copy. Then go to Word, and on a blank page, hit Paste.
I will warn you that's it's not formatted and you get the instructions plus, Distance, Time, Total distance, Course, position, and Elevation. There is a box at the bottom that allows you to remove More Info, and just see the Directions, but after multiple attempts, the C&P seems to still include the More Info.
Give this a try and see if this might help.
"And not step-by-step directions" is in this thread title.
Your proposal is to do just that - which is not needed because there is a "Print" button for that particular feature.
Dude - I was sharing the ONLY option I know of to see if any of it might help. At least it provides all of the stops in Cut & Paste TYPE form, and you can edit out all of the turn by turn info pretty quickly and easily. As such, unless Garmin ever picks this up for a To-Do item (Don't hold your breath), that is the only other option other than doing a screen print.
None of the print functions, no matter what you select allow you to print just an an itinerary. You asked for another option, and you got one. I'm sorry there is no native way to parse out the blow by blow from the actual stops. There is no easy way I am aware of.
First of all, I'm not your "Dude" and suggest that you keep your name calling to yourself.
In fact, your so called "help" is totally idiotic and my response to it was polite - but not now. You obviously gave no thought to the image or the post title as anyone can plainly see.
Clearly you missed the point. But that's fine. Keep playing with your photos.
