BaseCamp with Fenix 6s pro maps usage is too slow

I have tried to use Garmin basecamp with my fenix 6s pro. Loading maps from device is very slow, after initial load (over 6 hours) the maps are still too slow to use, the software is useless with current state. I hope you can fix compatibility issues with Fenix pro watches. My BaseCamp version is 4.7.1 and my Fenix 6s pro watch version is 9.0.

Which map? Certain maps can be installed to your PC then BaseCamp is much faster. If that's not possible there are other ways to increase speed.

I have bought Topo Finland v5 pro. How can I speed up loading that or other maps?

Well first check in Express. If it's listed there check the Map Options link, may be one allowing you to download to your PC for BaseCamp to use. If not then other option is to copy the map to a sd card, memory stick or virtual drive. That will work faster than trying to read from your device and avoids the need to plug it in each time.
