How to move maps (gmap) from one PC to another

I have recently upgraded to a better PC and installed BaseCamp and simply copied my maps (.gmap file) to the new PC but everytime I start Basecamp I get reminders that my maps need unlocking.

Is there a particular method in moving map files OR what do I need to do to get the maps unlocked.
