Montana 680 and BaseCamp

I use the Garmin map "Topo CH V4 Pro Switzerland", the successor of "Topo CH V 4 Pro Schweiz". The presentation of the paths and trails on my Garmin Montana 680 is much worse, partly hardly visible, than in BaseCamp. Can this be influenced. By editing the TYPE file I did not manage to do this.

Not sure about your device but is there a setting for map detail? May be as simple as selecting a higher detail. Look in something like Setup, Map, Advanced Map Setup, Map detail

Thanks, SUSSAMB, however the map details are already on "max".
