base camp windows and oztopo maps

I have been running base camp version 4.63 and using purchased oztopo map successfully for some years on my macbook air

I now have a windows machine thinkpad x1 carbon gen 6 and have downloaded version 4.71 of basecamp

base camp will not recognise the oztopo map on the card in my garman 62s but the mac continues to do so.

Is there a fix for this or perhaps an older version that I can download that will use the oztopo maps

I realise now that the map should be installed in base camp as well as the 62s

the sd card for the pc install has long since been mislaid can I transfer the map from the sd card in the 62 s to the windows based base camp?

Basically no, what you can do is transfer the map to another removable drive if you don't want to plug in your 62 all the time. Some maps though aren't set by the provider to work with BaseCamp. You can use JaVaWa's Device Manager to make them visible to BaseCamp www.javawa.nl/jdm_en.html
