Problem with Garmin 2445LM

Hi everyone,

I'm italian (so excuse if my english isn't the best), and I have a problem with the import of a route from Basecamp to my Garmin 2445LM.

I set basecamp in "light mode" (just saying), with small number of POI (no hotels, restaurant ecc...), only panoramic street and no freeway, for my trip with my motorcycle.

I've done a route of 350Km in 9 hours, My home - Arezzo - My home, a circuit of normal street and I copy this route inside my Garmin (with the directory list on the left)

When I turn on my Garmin, I receive this message (it's translate from italian, I don't know if in english is the same...) "The path is too long. Navigation instructions will be added when the vehicle approaches the destination". AND MY NAVIGATOR CANCEL THE TRIP FROM ITSELF!!!! WITH NO EXPLANATIONS!!!

I know that 350 Km or 9 hours is very long, but I don't know if this is the reason of this issue... I's normal? There is a "limit" beyond which this issue appear?

Try splitting the route into two or more segments, your device can only have 30 viapoints in a route.

Hi, thank's for the answer! I also thought that was the problem, but my route only has 9 waypoints, including departure and arrival!

Then it will be an issue with the length and/or complexity of the route, again the solution is to split the route into parts.

Ok I try split and the route appear in my Garmin. Thanks a lot!!!!
