As a motorcyclist one of the handiest features that I miss from mapsource was the ability to assign a prefix to waypoints. Mapsource would then numerically increment with each click of a waypoint. Supposing I created a ride to the beach, I would assign an auto prefix of "BCH" then with every mouse click I would get "BCH001.....BCH002......BCH003 and so on.
This was very helpful to keep things organized on both the computer and the Garmin. It sped up waypoint creation tremendously. If I wanted to change my routing on the fly it was so much nicer to know that every waypoint associated with that ride will start with "BCH" for example. Keeping the name length small and meaningful is also handy.
Please bring this feature back.
