Attaching a route to an email

Hi when I attach a route I have created to an email I click onto export selection and it is saved to my documents then I attach it to my email however when I open the attachment to check it every route in my collection loads up how can I just send the route I have selected and not every other route in my basecamp

It sounds like you may have exported your entire My Collection instead of a single item. You would want to highlight the specific route you want to export first, then select File > Export > Export Selection. Or you can right click on the route in the lower left hand pane, select Send to if you have a memory stick, sd card or device attached, then email the file sent to it.

Hi I am having the problem that having connected my Garmin to my phone using bluetooth when i try and save the gpx folder from mail it says that my connected device does not support gpx files?

Sorry but without more detail on which device you're talking about its impossible to answer. Also this is the BaseCamp forum. Please either start a new thread in this forum if BaseCamp is involved or in a more appropriate forum if not. Closing here.
