I have downloaded the latest BC and it connects to my RV 785. I created a route and tried to upload to the device, but the device switches to the splash screen and the hangs with the updating dialog on. If I unplug from my PC and restart the 785, the route is listed (sometimes twice) and seems to work.
What I would like to do is upload to the microSD card, but that gives me an error when uploading to the camera memory card and no files are transferred. If I upload to the other microSD card, the files transfer and I can see them in the device folder in BC, but Trip Planner in the device does not see them.
I'm new to Garmin devices and BC so suspect I'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I apologize if there are multiple posts; had some difficulty submitting to the board.
