Waypoints

I have just bought a Etrex 32x and I am trying to get to grips with basecamp. I am struggling to manage waypoints from my trips for future use as they seem to be tied to particular data transfers.

How can I create multiple way points for an area that will show on my device so I can select them during a future walks? I want to add some points of interest and rendezvous points.

I am probably missing something obvious but any tips appreciated!

Does thje Etrex show up in Basecamp, when it is connected to your PC/MAC? Generally, you place waypoints, tracks, routes, etc. in a list on Basecamp and then transfer that list to your device. You can mange the waypoints, etc., with multiple lists, keeping things organized however you like.

Agreed, that's how I manage all my hiking data

The device shows up but I think I hadn't realized you have to send the waypoints back to the device created on a particular track to see them for future walks. Thanks for your comment.
