Multiple gpx files = 1 route?

I received several gpx files from Adventure Cycle. All part of one ride. each file contained either the main route, an alternate route for a section plus one waypoint file. I've looked, and can't find a way to create a route out of those 'lists'. The first dialogue box wants me to enter waypoint data. The data in the afrementioned gpx files contains all the correct data, why is prompting me to enter?

This may be evident to an experienced user, but I can't figure it out.

You should be able to import the files directly into BaseCamp. If they won't import ask Adventure Cycle what the issue is, the routes may not be in the correct format.

Your gpx files most likely contains Tracks and not Routes. You can join tracks together or you can use the waypoints provided to build a Route. If it is a multi-day adventure, it is best to keep each day a separate Route or Track. The best course of action may depend on what device you own.
