I've searched the issue quite a bit, but it doesn't appear I can import a trip made on my Nuvi 2595 into Basecamp. Is that right?

No, your trips on a nuvi should import fine into BaseCamp. There was an issue with some older nuvis, but your model should be fine
..ahh I have just a new topic about this using the word route, perhaps this is where I am going wrong as it used to be possible.
Basecamp appears to call routes = tracks, how odd but still cant sem to display on map?

Wow... really!? I'll be darned if I can figure out how to do it. I had a handle on Basecamp 6-7 years ago, but I'm struggling now to figure out how to use it again. I'll have a look again, but if you could post a path to the option, I'd really appreciate it.
Basecamp did import all of what appear to be my saved places, including ones for the route I just made on my Nuvi, and a couple dozen "Active Logs." But I'm not seeing any of Nuvi's routes on in Basecamp. I found instructions on how to import current.gpx from the Nuvi's \GPX folder in Windows Explorer, but that basically just duplicated what Basecamp did automatically.
I have sent their tech support team an email with screen shots, mine is simply not saving the past trips which is why it does not appear via Basecamp under 'user dtata'
If its not appearing aautomatically even though file import has worked it may not be there - you could try creating a route and importing into your device to see iif it saves, also have a look to make sure enough free space.
Cheers,
If the routes appear in Trip Planner on your nuvi then they'll appear in BaseCamp when your nuvi is connected. It's all automatic. If they're not appearing what routes are you talking about, and what nuvi model do you have?
It's a Nuvi 2595LMT. Waypoints from the Nuvi were automatically imported to Basecamp. So I was able to re-create the route I made on the GPS the other day. But I thought I'd be able to enable the routes filter in the bottom left sidebar and see the route as I named it in the Nuvi.
If it appears in Trip Planner app on your nuvi BaseCamp should see it, so does it show in the trip planner app on your device?
