Every time I use Basecamp I get a prompt to install MapInstall 4.2.0, which I dismiss and ignore. If I was stopid enought to actually install it, then maps wouldn't be successfully sent to any of my Garmin devices - even some of Garmin's own maps. It's now over a year since this crippled version was released, and nothing has been done to fix it. Still, I don't know why I should be surprised - it's of a piece with the largely crap quality of most of Garmin's software...
