How do I make a road map from individual Google paths?

My work requires me to drive down long-forgotten and unmarked roads. There are restrictions; some roads are permitted to drive on, and some are not. As such, my field guys have created a Google Earth package of paths that list all the available paths to drive on. I want to take all these "paths" from Google Earth and turn them into a map on my Garmin Montana, so when I go from point A to point B, I can either follow along the map, or get an actual route from the Garmin. I really don't need the routing capabilities, but it would be nice to have just one file/map.

I have saved Tracks, and I can click on them individually to appear on the map, but this is tedious.

Is this possible? How would I take paths from Google Earth (and there are about 100; the guys made all these little individual things) and turn that into a map?

Do you mean view all the tracks on the Montana's map? In the Montana each Tracks can be set to "view on map" which I think is what you are doing. You can also take the time to join the tracks in some logical manner so there are fewer tracks. You can do the join in Google Earth or BaseCamp.

If you want to view them all at once in BaseCamp just click on the folder that contains all of them.

The problem joining tracks is that for some reason Basecamp needs to have them in a circular pattern, or something, so that the beginning and end match up. I'm having trouble joining them as all of a sudden I have all these lines stretching all over the map, from the end of one track to the next. I think it might have something to do with the direction I was traveling when the track was created.

If I could just take the polylines from google earth and create one cohesive track, that might be the solution. I'll see. I imported them into Basecamp and maybe that's all I needed to do?

I'll check that out! Might be just the thing I need. I did a conversion using GPSBabel, which might be the same thing in a way?
