Transferring a waypoint to forerunner 945

I was able to create a route and transfer to the watch. But my waypoint does not seem to go over.

When I drag/drop or do send to device, the primary folder lights yellow and then a green check like it synced. Then it shows in the primary folder.

I can do 'get from device' and that data includes that way point.

After I disconnect the watch from the computer, I go to navigate->saved locations and it's not there. I tried a few times.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

I tried it with my Forerunner 935 and I can see the waypoint under 'saved locations'

I found that if the waypoint name is longer than (I think) 16 characters (whatever the max length is), it will not transfer appropriately. In the older version of BaseCamp, I think it worked by truncation. In 4.7 - It does not.
