I have a Nuvi 2455 with updated maps & software (via Garmin Express). I also installed Basecamp. I don't seem to have any trouble creating waypoints or routes in Basecamp, but have the following confusions.
(1) After I create waypoints and view the route in Basecamp with the DEVICE folder selected (not the computer collections) I then disconnect the device from the USB and power it up to see how it took. Well it's in there alright but when I tap GO it asks me if I want to create a new route or add to existing route (?) what does this mean? I thought I already had a route? I tried choosing each but got only more confused reading the screen. Need some direction on lthis.
(2) When I'm panning around on the actual device map (not on basecamp map) about half the time it stops panning and pops this box up asking for coordinates (?) what's going on with this ? And if I hit cancel to the coord box, then my route has disappeared off screen. Totally confused here, the reason I was panning was to see the "new route" exits at destination. Any pointers on how to avoid this or how to get back to my map and panning?
(3) In basecamp on the device I've got some waypoints with default number names that I have no idea how I got them on there. I'd like to delete them but there doesn't appear to be any way to do this. Am I stuck with these nothing waypoints?
(4) How can I just delete everything in Basecamp and the device and start over?
