Tracks - elevation profile on Basecamp or GPSMAP64 displayable?

Can I get the elevation profile of a gpx-track displayed somewhere, either Basecamp or on the device? I want to see whether the track is suitable to my fitness and the elevation profile is the main info I need.

You can certainly view it in BaseCamp IF the map selected has the relevant detail.

You could upload it to GC as a Course and it may well show the elevation.

The map does not need anything? If the file has elevation data, it can be shown in Basecamp.
