I read that Garmin has blocked users from installing 3rd party maps into gps units using basecamp since last May. Is this true? If it is, is there a way to work around this without installing previous versions of Basecamp? If not, my device would be pretty useless for what I want to use it for and my support for garmin is going to drop.
