"3D Terrain Disabled"

I'm getting this notice when I open BaseCamp. It will let me continue (in 2D mode) but it's something new since I upgraded to Windows 10.
The complete message is below. I went through the process of checking my video card driver, doing an "update driver", but it says I'm already up to date.
Any ideas?

BaseCamp can only display 2D map view because the installed video card driver does not support OpenGL 1.3.
In order to display 3D terrain, update your video card driver.
Contact your computer manufacturer to obtain an updated driver.

Sounds like Win10 may have broken something. You could try uninstalling then re-installing BC.

If that doesn't work, uninstall the video card adapter and restart your computer. It will automatically reinstall the driver. If that doesn't work and your computer has an on-board graphics, you may to make sure that BaseCamp is assigned to the video card. Sorry, but I don't remember off the top of my head how this done.

BTLAAKE: wish I knew how to do that <grin>. "uninstall the video card adapter" and "make sure that BaseCamp is assigned to the video card" are a foreign language to me. I'll do some googling on them but if you can step me through them I would appreciate it.

SUSSAMB: I will leave that as a last resort. I assume I would do a "backup" first, then uninstall, then "restore".

No need to back up. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't affect data, maps etc ... takes about 2 minutes.

My error. I meant to write uninstall the video card driver. Go to the Device Manager and you should see a list of hardware on your computer. Click on the display adapters and you will see one or more video items listed here - you may have something built onto you mother board (e.g. Intel Graphics ...). Uninstall the driver for your video card and restart your computer,

If you have a video card that is not built into the mother board, it will likely have it's own control panel. That is where you will need to manage the 3D settings.

BTLAAKE:
OK, I found the Display Adapters, and you're right, mine shows Intel HD Graphics.
When I right click on that, my choices are:
- Update driver
- Disable device
- Uninstall device

as well as "Scan for hardware changes" and "Properties"

I don't see a "Uninstall driver" selection, and I'm not sure which of the above 3 to choose.
Sorry to be a pain. As you can tell, I know zero about this stuff!

Did you reboot your computer after the uninstall? I have noticed that sometimes I have had to do that to clear a problem.

Thanks Dennis. Yes I rebooted the PC after the new install. Still no luck.
