I have been working in Basecamp for hours and created multiple new routes with no issue. Suddenly, new routes will not calculate, nor follow the roads. My Nuvi is connected and the map data is showing on the Basecamp map. When I attempt to make a new route, it will not follow the roads, it shows as a straight line, and the departure and arrival time are the same time, the mileage shown is direct point to point rather than road mileage. I have tried setting the route to different profiles and recalculating but it makes no difference. Has anyone encountered a problem like this? I am leaving on a 30 day trip on Tuesday and the timing on this problem is, um, inconvenient, to be polite. Any pointers? Also, when I start up Basecamp I am getting a message that Basecamp cannot be launched, it needs read and write access to the path AppData/Roaming/Garmin. However, it does launch, and I have attempted to give permission for that folder although I'm confused because there was no permission setting to allow access to an application, the permission settings were all about network groups and other users. My user profile has administrative rights. I'm stumped. Thanks!
Sorry, I cannot see how to delete this. The problem seems to be that the Nuvi went to sleep. Sorry for the inconvenience. I don't do this nearly often enough.
