I have purchased Dezl 770's for our fleet and need to install maps into BaseCamp so I can plan routing in advance of uploading to each 770. Do I have to purchase a map package?
Nothing wrong with the software, working perfectly on mine. If BaseCamp is showing it has 2019.20 installed and you're not seeing it check what map detail you have set and also whether you've checked Basic map only in View, Basic map only in the toolbar.
There is definitely a problem, I have now deleted 2019.2 from Basecamp and gone back to 2018.3 which works perfectly, I have tried again to download to computer only in Garmin Express still same message "there was an error installing the update"
I have tried to download on another computer, a totally different computer with exactly the same error message, I rest my case there is a problem with the software at Garmin end.
You may or may not be pleased to know that the 2019.2 maps now will download to computer only, after communication with Garmin, some one some where has fixed it.
