Elevation data is missing from downloaded Birdseye imagery - why?

Hi all
I've downloaded a large section of Birdseye imagery to my PC, created a track to follow, and when I click the graph tab in the route details box I get this a message saying: 'There is no elevation data in the selected track(s)'.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have downloaded as per usual, do I need to tell it to look somewhere for the elevation data?

Many thanks
Dave

I am not an expert on basecamp or byrdseye, but I do use it a lot. in my case elevations in ByrdsEye show up only if i use a topo map in the background. The byrdseye overlay will use topo maps data for elevation, streams, roads and such. If you double click on byrdseye image you must select the draw order of the image.I use order of 0, bottom. Do not use road maps if you need topo details.
