RV660+BaseCamp+Routes Not Transferring

Seems to be an often repeated thread. I believe I finally found a solution thanks to Tech Support. However, not a perfect one, but it works.

The explanation just received makes sense. Basecamp does NOT recognize Propane Tanks even if you are using the RV profile. IF you have PROPANE TANKS in your SETUP on your DEVICE - your ROUTES will NOT TRANSFER.

What you have to do is on your DEVICE, delete any inclusion of Propane Tanks in your SETUP. Transfer your ROUTES. They will then show up in your Trip Planner. Once that is done - THEN you can turn on your Propane Tanks ... with the caveat that your route may then change when you activate it due to the "new" propane/HazMat restriction the GPS will now recognize.

I am further informed that there is no current plan to include PROPANE in the PROFILE for an RV in Basecamp ..

I am hoping that if enough users of the RV Production complain (loudly) .. they will fix this.
Potentially using the reason that their main COMPETITOR - RandMcNally - does allow for this in THEIR Trip Planning and RV GPS Unit ... and yes, I have both ... :-)

... and the really sucky part ... do not let it recalculate ... bc if you do, you might as well have not bothered to plan a route ... it will change it back to just planning a route as if you did it on the device itself anyway .. negating any advantage of planning it ahead on the app. So ... you either take the route 'as is' how you planned it ... and HOPE there aren't any propane restrictions on the route. Or just do it on the device and skip the use of Basecamp. So basically - Basecamp has pretty much NO VALUE to anyone for RV use.
