Often when making a (bicycle) route in BC, and putting the points one by one, BC draws the route 'too far' (further than the point where I click on the map). It's like the resulting route navigates back again to the point where I had clicked. I made a video where this is clearly seen: https://youtu.be/6klnU-eSPuM. When moving the map with the 'hand' tool, you can see that the arrows are going back and forth all over the place, instead of just following the route.
Why is BC putting those route points 'too far' sometimes? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
