Setup Failed, 0x80070643 Fatal error during installation

I tried to install Basecamp on my computer running Win10 and got this error message. Attached is the error log. I'm planning a road trip to Virginia and North Carolina and want to upload the route to my Garmin.

Any idea how to fix this error?

I'm also getting the same error message when installing 4.7.0 (on Win 10). I had it also on the version previous. I was able to install 4.6.2 which is the version I'm running now. I was not able to open the attached file in the original post. The log file lines which seem relevant are below.

I have the same problem: 0x80070643 when upgrading from 4.6.2 to 4.7.0.0.

Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 10? I'm running 32-bit and had no problems upgrading to BaseCamp 4.7. Now getting it to work correctly is another matter...
