I have a new Garmin 64st that I put a 128 gb SD card into. I downloaded the OSM maps from GmapTools and the maps appear in basecamp. However, after basecamp installed the maps through map installer to my SD card, they still do not appear on the handheld. Do I need to try a smaller SD card like 32 gb? or is there something else I should check?
It's the MapInstall bug that was just released. Basecamp 4.7 and MapInstall 4.2 need to be uninstalled. Make sure the MapInstall directory is deleted. Then install BaseCamp 4.6.2 and MapInstall 4.0.4 from the Perry download page.
I found partition software to reformat the SD card and it did not resolve the issue. I am waiting on the new card to get here in the mail to see if that resolves it.
