...an older version of Google Earth...
Well I have used Basecamp from the beginning and have really enjoyed using it. I like the Data base method being used. I travel fulltime in my Diesel pickup and 38ft 5th wheel trailer.
I use Google Earth to pin point the location of every campground that I plan to go to before leaving so I have no problem with my trailer. I have even installed an older version of Google Earth which has been working with no problem. Basecamp can locate the waypoint if I have google earth launched. It looks like now I can't even use Basecamp to locate the entry points to campgrounds with this new version. I wish that this had been left in Basecamp for those of us that have no problem using an older version of Google Earth. Unless I can figure out a way to locate the campgrounds exact location I will have to reinstall Basecamp 4.6.2.
I really like Basecamp. I wish this change had not been made. I have no Idea how to export my location to KLM 2.2. This is not a great workaround for me..
Thank you for your time.

Bobcat,
I have used BaseCamp the same as you for verifying campground locations. I just updated to 4.7 and see the Google Earth link gone. VERY SAD. What you now have to do, is with your route that contains the campground waypoints highlight, Go to File >Export >"List name for highlight route" and then when file explorer appears change the file type to KLM 2.2. Then you need to go to the File location you saved it in and open in Google Earth or double click on the file, NOT SIMPLE
