Hello, I've planned out my next trek in Basecamp routing onto an opensource map. I then transfer the maps and routes to my Edge. When trekking (rather than cycling) I also print out the maps and hand right notes onto my printed out maps. I like to add notes like "cable assisted section" or "steep scree section" as noted in the treks guidebook. This time I thought that instead of handwriting my notes I'd like to insert text onto the maps. I'm not bothered about whether the text is added onto the map on my Edge, mainly interested in added it onto my printed map. Is there a way to do this in Basecamp? Since I'd like to keep the printed scale and Lat /Lon I can't export to another application to insert the text.
My searches on the help file haven't turned anything up. But then I'm probably searching on the wrong terminology.
