Garmin Basecamp-Copy and add points to a previous section

I find that the Join selected sections does not work that well. Hard to get 2 tracks selected and get loop back segments. I would like to be able to highlight the points in the section using cntrl - A and cntrl - C to copy these points to the clipboard. Then go into the first section and paste (cntrl - v) to the end of the file. The problem I'm having is getting to the end of the file. Tried END, cntrl - END, alt - + but always pastes the data 1 line above the end. How do you get to the end of the file before you paste?

I'm not sure what you're trying to attempt here but let's deal with the first issue. If you're trying to join a number of tracks and it's not working as you expect bear in mind BaseCamp will join the end of the first to the start of the second etc. Depending on track direction you may need to reverse some tracks to avoid 'loops'. Also BC will join them in the order selected so if you simply group select tracks that may not work. When trying to join tracks use Ctrl + click and select the tracks in the order you want them to be joined.

If you insist that you want to paste data you can't paste data, as you've discovered, at the end, so you'll need to paste it then move the end point to it's correct place, or just delete it.

Thanks....I'm pretty sure I was doing this wrong half the time:
When trying to join tracks use Ctrl + click and select the tracks in the order you want them to be joined.
