Is there any way to turn off the heading balloons that come up every time I click a new point using the measure tool? I can live with the simple distance balloon, since I am, after all, trying to measure the distance of a future track, but a new heading balloon is inserted each time I click on a new location and soon, they cover the geography so completely that I cannot see where the heck I am going.
I found a thread from a few years back that said this could not be turned off, but I could not find if that had changed with the current version of basecamp, windows version.
