Tracks appearing in Internal Storage on Basecamp

Hi folks. I'm struggling with Basecamp I must admit. When I plug my Garmin Oregon 650t into my computer and open Basecamp there are several tracks listed under the Internal Storage heading on the left-hand side of the screen. These tracks do not appear in my Garmin when it's turned on (and unplugged from the computer). They don't appear under Archived tracks. My question is where are they? When I delete them from the Internal Storage listing in Basecamp then disconnect and reconnect my Garmin to the computer they appear in that Internal Storage list again. Quite a mystery. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
  • I have a Garmin Drivesmart 61 and have the same issues

I wanted to baseline the unit and pushed the speedometer and deleted all of the user settings, and also went to my "saved" button (Heart icon) and used the hamburger (3 horizontal lines) and deleted all saved places, and then rebooted the Garmin unit and connected to Basecamp....well, all the tracks and POI are still there under internal storage?!

Go figure - how the heck can you actually delete this stuff???

    Anyone have any ideas??

    Thx,

    Chris.

POIs aren't deleted by a master reset. Delete them by deleting the .gpi files in the POI folder.

Tracks need to be deleted using the menu buttons on the device.
