I've decided to try installing some BirdsEye maps.
My new GPSmap 276Cx supports these maps and comes with a 1-year subscription.
The GPS has a large memory - 8 GB (3.2 GB available to use) - specs on Garmin website.
I have a City Navigator® Europe NT SD card installed.
Is it possible to copy the contents of this small card to a larger one, for use in the same (registered) GPS? Then I could have a larger capacity for extra maps. What is the largest size of SD card this GPS can use?
An alternative is to wait for a new update to CN NT and buy the download instead of the SD card. Could I then install CN NT on the GPS instead of the SD card. Would there be space?
This sort of information appears to be missing from Garmin web pages.
Any sugestions?
