When printing my maps, magnetic declination is for 2010. Have tried manually entering for my location but I still get 2010. Is there anyway to change this?
I doubt it. Magnetic declination goes along with the map data. That is to say true north for locations on the map is associated with the date of the map data. While plate tectonics aren't important for us, map makers are kind of sticklers on some things. The best you can do is write the current value or an annual rate of change on the map.
Thanks. Also found with my Rino 755t, switching from MN to TN only shows 2 degrees difference when it should show 3. Guess I will leave my compass and Rino set to MN and just use a protractor on my paper map.
