in the middle of updating latest version with elevations 4.6.2.0, laptop with windows 7 stopped progress and wont continue, if I need to reinstall basecamp, I need to get into my tracking and routes and waypoints to save, when I close progress window it closes basecamp, what do I need to do?
Search for a folder named Backup Files. Inside are files named "BaseCamp 2017-xx-xx.Backup". What is most recent date? Also....I HAVE DONE THIS BUT NO GUARANTEE.... you can uninstall BaseCamp and not lose any data. Then download BaseCamp from the net and install it. It should bring in all you data and be good as new.
thanks for the reply, I was able to bypass the update when I opened basecamp with devise hooked up, it defaulted to device recognition, I moved history to device then to alternate pc, im going to start keeping history on both for future backup.
