Downloaded CN North America NT 2018.30 to my Windows computer & GPS device. The new map is on my computer and device, but locked on my computer. This has happened for every map download for the last two years. I always end up calling the help desk and someone there installs a .gma file on my computer. Any ideas on why this happens and how to prevent this problem in the future?
Have the solution. When you use Garmin Express to update a map, the map files are send to the User, the key (.gma file) to unlock the map is send to the Administrator. All you need do is move the key to the User map folder.
