Trying to get Basecamp up and running-receiving license restriction message...

I need to plan a route for my 660 and have always used Mapsource. I guess MS is out and replaced by Basecamp. I had Mapsource on my old PC and I now have a new one and just loaded Basecamp. I'm unable to create a Waypoint due to a license restriction. I was able to download it and log in so what am I missing?

No idea. Never heard of BaseCamp displaying a licence restriction. When exactly does it happen and what exactly does it say?

Incidentally MapSource is still available.

WOW, Interesting I was checking on a issue with BaseCamp and my Montana 600t Camo and I got a call from "Tech Support" telling me the the BaseCamp and Garmin Express was the free version and thats why is wasn't working right. Told me for 19.95 I can get a license copy for both. SO I said OK and then they had me go to "Coinbase.com". Is that for real?
