how to add a waypoint from a lat/long such as N 40 43.883' W 76 09.100'

I'm using 4.6.2 and want to add a point of interest, waypoint, or whatever the proper term is to an existing map/track.
I have the lat/long, such as N 40 43.883' W 76 09.100'
I can't figure out how to get Basecamp to let me use that as the address. This has to be easy and I'm just not looking in the right place

Hit Ctrl + T and you can then enter the location.

SUSSAMB's way is the fast way. Or for us slow folks who can't remember the shortcut keys...the menu way. At the top menu bar, click on "Find", then on the drop-down menu at the bottom click on "Locate coordinates". Enter your lat/long. You can rename it on the left sidebar after you have created the waypoint.
