I have a GPSMAP 64ST which came with the Garmin Topo 100K map installed in internal memory. I'd like to copy this map into Basecamp so I don't have to have the GPS connected while planning my outings. Will JaVaWa's GMTK or some other utility do this?
No. You have options though since BaseCamp will read the map on your GPS if you copy it to any removable disk. I have a usb stick in one of the back ports of my PC that is used for that, but you could equally use a SD card or virtual drive. The key is that whatever you use must be removable, so you can't just copy it to your c drive.
