How Do I use What I've Created?

Okay, now that I have created a couple of trips I tried transferring one of them to my device. And I noticed that all previously non-existent waypoints were in fact added. But, there does not appear to be any way to actually use the "trip" in the device? Am I missing something? What is the point of creating a trip for your device if it is not importable in a form that can be navigated automatically?

Sometimes the OP is yanking the legs of other forum users with meritorious questions of which he already knows the answers. Nonetheless the questions may be of general interest to other forum readers. The Trip Planner App in the newer (post 2012/13) perform very well for multipoint routing in my limited experience with the (Garmin 56).

I can't speak to that. And I'm not sure what that has to do with my question??

That still doesn't answer my question. If you create a multi-point trip with the Basecamp Trip Planner (not the routing tool) will that trip transfer properly as a multi-point route into a device that does not have trip planning and then work properly?

Thanks for all the replys everyone. My experience is that I can navigate to a point and then add one "via" point before reaching the final destination. I will probably just print out the final route and import all the waypoints so that I can navigate to them one at a time.
