Unable to connect my device to Basecamp

Although my Garmin GPS 50 is recognised and updated by Garmin Express I am having a problem connecting to Basecamp. The error message that I receive is:-

There was a problem communicating with Drive 50
An error occurred while reading the following file(s):
gpx/archive/68.gpx

Can anyone help please?

Seriously?!?! You still use this one: http://retro-gps.info/Garmin/Garmin-GPS-50/index.html? How cool is that! Congratulations!

Now to the point:
It is possible that the internal memory of your unit is damaged and Basecamp is unable to retrieve one of the files. I'm not familiar with the storage method of the GPS 50 unit, but I'd try deleting the problematic file or formatting the internal storage if it's possible and nothing else helps.

That worked. I just deleted the file.
