How to shrink gmapsupp image file ?

Hi there! I have this 2007 Honda Goldwing motorcycle with a GPS and I have this newer gmapsupp image file to put inside a CF card via my computer but it's not working because the size exceed 2 GB.

So, I would like to know how to edit the file, remove some states and countries to make it under a 2 GB gmapsupp image file.

You'll need to go to where you got the map from. Many sites also supply an .exe file so you can install the map to your PC for BaseCamp to use.

I must have done something wrong then because the map I installed did have a exe file to install it. I'll revisit the site (if I can find it again) and see if I installed it incorrectly.
