Deleting waypoints in BaseCamp: not possible?

I'd like to ask a question. I am using BaseCamp with a driveSmart unit. After some usage of the instrument I wanted to delete some of the logs and waypoints in its internal storage. Whichever I select, the delete button is greyed out and I see no way of doing something so obvious in BaseCamp.

Am I overlooking something?

You can't delete data using BaseCamp, you can only do that through the menus on your Drive.

Thanks for replying.

I managed to delete the waypoints, but the paths are still there. I've been looking through the menus in the instrument for an option to delete an accumulated number of past paths yet they keep appearing in BaseCamp where they cannot be deleted.
Does anyone know how to delete them?

I also looked for the location of these data with the file manager, and could not find that either... where are these things stored!?

What paths? Do you mean trips? If so they are deleted via the trip planner app.

If you mean tracks of where you've been you delete them in Settings, Device, Clear travel history.
