Edit: To make long story short - exporting gpx files to my device stopped working - don't get converted to Courses any more. Below are the details, but I suspect that removing INTL Standard Basemap from internal memory (gmapsupp.img file) is the cause.
I'm a new user of the forum, but I'm already quite experienced both when it comes to my device (Garmin Edge 810 - firmware version: 6.10) and BaseCamp (version 4.6.2 currently).
Exporting new tracks from BaseCamp to my Device stopped working. I've always been doing it the same way - first I drew the track in BaseCamp (I only use Tracks, I do not use Routes as I want to control 100% of routing by myself and it's okay for me), then I right clicked created Track and selected "Send To..." and then I chose Internal Storage. It always worked that way, but it stopped 2 days ago. I can see it creates the "temp.gpx" file and puts it to the "Garmin\NewFiles" folder, but it doesn't create the corresponding "Garmin\Courses" file when I disconnect it from the PC and turn it on. Seems like it can't create the ".fit" files any more :(
I remember I've recently updated the maps (I always use storage card for that) but I might have deleted the "gmapsupp.img" file from the Internal Storage mistakenly (there was a free basic International Map there I think), but the device works normally, so that shouldn't be the cause.
Can you suggest me what to do and what may be wrong?
Converting a .gpx file online to the .fit file and putting it to the Courses folder doesn't help - it gets removed the next time I turn on the device.
