The latest basecamp version hangs when it tries to xalculate routes. I use the map from my navigator V. This ysed to work before I upgraded to the lates version. Any udeas?
Well the latest BaseCamp version has been out for ages and I've not heard of it freezing when calculating routes. Perhaps you could explain in more detail what your issue is? How for example are you creating routes? What sort of routes are they?
Generally speaking, when a route calculation appears to hang it is due to too many "Road (and possibly Feature) Type Avoidances" set in the "Activity Profile". Try using the default Driving Profile to see if it works.

Yes, I was in motorcycling activity. I unchecked the "residential road" avoidance option and it at least calculated- even though very slow. It seems that after upgrading to 10 and also upgrading g basecamp, everything takes a lot longer than it used to.

Don't know if this makes sense, but if you are using the maps off the device and have upgraded Windows (possibly BaseCamp as well), BaseCamp may have to build/rebuild the map index. You may want to try connecting your device, starting BaseCamp and then walk away for awhile.
