Basecamp reverts to Birdseye - track created with OS map

1. I create a track using OS map using Basecamp

2. I use Basecamp to convert it to be a route

3. Upload it to my Garmin Montana 680

4. It looks fine on OS map on my G M 680

5. Go back to Basecamp and open the route again

6. Now it will only show in Birdseye and not on OS map

(this is an offroad hiking route made by manually dot for dot...)

Sorry, I don't understand that. Any route in BaseCamp will show on any map provided you've selected the route and the correct map. Exactly what are you doing and what is happening that you think is wrong? If you can do so a screenshot or two may help?

I am looking a a route called "W" that is in the folder "Internal storage"
At the top of the screen there is a box where I have chosen the map "Lake District v4"
But instead of viewing the route on Lake Dstrict v4 I can only see Birdseye

Suggestions as to what I have misunderstood would be greatly appreciated

Well all is clear now, that's because you have BirdsEye in the folder you've selected, which is your Montana and not a BaseCamp folder. If you want to see the route on a map then copy it to a folder in BaseCamp that doesn't contain any BirdsEye files.

You could also try clicking the arrow against Show overlays and change it so that overlays aren't shown. Can't recall if that will work in this case and I'm not at my PC right now.

Thankyou - I copied it to a Basecamp folder
Now I see my route on OS :)
