I'm trying to use Basecamp in conjunction with a Zumo 340LM on a motorcycle, in order to prepare 'circular' routes; ie plotting out nice riding routes which start off and finish at the same place (ie, home). I've already managed to do this in Basecamp, but my problem is that when I do, although the highlighted route appears on my Zumo in pink as usual, with spoken instructions, if I ever accidentally deviate from the pink route I get no warning of this. The device does not attempt to automatically recalculate a revised route or tell me to "turn around when possible". My only option is to pull over, and try to work out how to return to the pink route without electronic help.
Surely, what I'm trying to do should be possible - isn't it? I'm assuming I must be doing something stupid, and if so, I would be really grateful for any pointers as to what's wrong. It's really doing my head in!
