I can login to MyGarmin on the website and in Basecamp but when I try to download Birdseye maps it doesn't recognise my username and or my password

Windows 10 / Basecamp 4.6.2

any ideas?
  • Probably an account issue. You'll need to call Garmin to get it resolved.
  • My BE subscription just expired. Trying to renew using BC 4.6.2 and I get an error message "There was an error applying this subscription to your device. Please try again." I spent a bunch of time on chat with Garmin, tried a bunch of things per his instructions.  He left it off saying he thought I need to upgrade to 4.7.x in order to get BirdsEye working again.

    I am not amenable to doing that since I think the latest BC still does not support Google Earth Pro. I use that option a lot, and would hate to lose that.

    So my questions here are:

    Has anyone with 4.6.2 successfully renewed their BirdsEye subscription since 4.7.x came out?

    Does 4.7.x have the menu option to "View/Google Earth" and does it work?
