Hi all - brand new here. Just got my Garmin Montana 680t and with it came the free year of Birdseye imagery. My GPS is preloaded with the TOPO 100k maps as well. After several days playing with it and with the Basecamp software, I'm starting to figure it out.. But having one really bad problem, and hoping it's not by design.
I have a 64GB microSD card installed but cannot seem to use it for anything, being mostly the Birdseye maps for now. When I download them to the card, they are not available on the GPS - don't show up and cannot be enabled/disabled in Maps.
But, if I put them (or just a few of them) on the Internal storage, all works fine. Only problem - these things have hardly any internal storage space left, even after cleanup, so I can only put a couple Birdseye maps on it at a time...
Why can't I use the microSD card for them?? Am I doing something wrong?
