Basecamp will not load after updating Lifetime Maps on Drive 60LM

I updated the Lifetime Maps on my Drive 60LM for the first time last night. The maps were designated to load on both the Drive 60LM and my PC. The updated maps appeared on the GPS, but when I went to load Basecamp, it would not load. I double-clicked the exe file to go direct instead of using a desktop shortcut. The HDD drive on the PC flickered for a few seconds, then nothing. Using Win 7 Pro, all updates current. Anyone else having this problem? I wanted to ask before I downloaded and installed Basecamp again.

If I reinstall BC, should I uninstall the older version first?

Never had an issue after a map update. Try uninstalling then reinstalling BaseCamp.

That worked! Thanks, SUSSAMB. I was afraid a re-install would lose all my waypoints and routes...got 'em all safely with the re-install.

Great. Your database and maps aren't affected by a reinstall so always worth doing if there's an issue, especially as it's very quick.

As the issue is resolved I'll close this thread.
